ANN LEGG

Naomi Ann Legg, 78, of Belton, Missouri, was born, May 12, 1942, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter, of Blonde and Florence (Still) Graham.  She departed this life, Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at the St. Luke’s East Hospital, in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.

Ann was a 1960 graduate of Center High School in Kansas City, Missouri.

On April 26, 1963, she was united in marriage to Robert Garland Tomlinson in Kansas City, Missouri; he preceded her in death on July 11, 1967.  On May 11, 1972, she was united in marriage to Roy Robert “Bob” Legg in Leon, Iowa; he preceded her in death on June 29, 2011.

Ann was employed as an accountant for the United States Department of Agriculture retiring in December 2005.  She enjoyed sewing, quilting, photography, crafting, painting, camping and fishing.  She also loved to read and write and tell stories of her life.  She most enjoyed spending time with her family.

Ann was also preceded in death by her parents; siblings Leland Graham, Maxine Stubbs, and Pete Graham; an infant son, Robert C. Tomlinson; and one grandson, Daniel Webster.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lorrie and Michael Webster of Belton; three grandchildren, Austin (and Mercedes) Webster of Spring Hill, Kansas, Murrissa Webster and Savannah Webster, both of Belton; five great grandchildren, Keller, Mylee, Kaydence, Brantley, and Beckett; one brother, Charles (and Frankie) Graham of Weston, Missouri; one sister, Norma Jones of Raymore, Missouri; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at the funeral home.  Reverend D. Kent Deubner officiated.  Interment was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.  Casket bearers were Austin Webster, Nathan Webster, Matt Loughner, Mike Graham, Rick Dahlin, and Roger Jones.

Visitation was held one hour prior to the service.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Missouri Department of Conservation and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
