Betty Lightfoot-Hiser

Betty Lou Lightfoot-Hiser, 91, of Nevada, Missouri, formerly of Kansas City and Pleasant Hill, was born December 8, 1925, in Lee’s Summit, the daughter of Charles and Betty (Perdue) Lightfoot.   She departed this life, Thursday, April 6, 2017, at the Moore-Few Care Center, Nevada.

Betty was a 1943 Lee’s Summit High School graduate.

Betty was Licensed Practical Nurse.  She was a member of the Nevada 1 ^st Christian Church.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Raymond Lightfoot and Howard Lightfoot; and one sister, Susie Clark.

She is survived by five nephews, George (and Renate) Clark of Blue Springs, Chuck (and Karen) Lightfoot of Delaware; Larry (and Charlene) Lightfoot of Rich Hill, Lloyd (and Chris) Clark of Nevada, and Robert (and Kathy) Clark of Ft. Scott, Kansas; 4 nieces, Billie Mead of Fordland, Betty Walk of Adrian, Lisa (and David) Shaw of Milo, and Klonda Holt of Greenwood; other relatives and friends.

Cremation has been accorded.

A graveside memorial service was held Wednesday, April 12, at the Lone Jack Cemetery. Mr. Robert Clark officiated.
