Beverly Stradford

Beverly Jane Stradford, 70, of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, was born Saturday, August 12, 1939 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of W.C. Clifton and Clara E. (Walters). She departed this life Thursday, November 5, 2009 at the Indian Meadows Health Care Center in Overland Park, Kansas.

On June 1st 1957, Beverly was united in marriage to Clifford Franklin Stradford in Kansas City. He survives.

Beverly worked for Sears & Roebuck at 18th & Cleveland. Following her marriage to Clifford she became a homemaker. She was a member of the Lee's Summit VFW Auxiliary.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Nancy Jo Hart.

She is also survived by her son Clifford, Jr. of the home; 1 brother Charles (and Nelda) Clifton of Amsterdam, Missouri; 2 grandchildren Shelby Stradford of Kirkwood, Missouri and Amber Stradford of Scott's Airforce Base in Illinois; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Monday, November 9, 2009, at the Stanley-Dickey Funeral Home. Pastor Pat M. Kelley, minister of the Lee's Summit United Methodist Church officiated. Interment was in the Floral Hills East Cemetery. Casket bearers were Curt Hart, Kelly Hart, Kevin Hart, Trace Hart, Johnny Stradford, and Shelby Stradford.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the family in memory of Beverly and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
