Pleasant Hill, Missouri

Robert Wayne “Happy” Harrison, 76, of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, formerly of Warrensburg, Missouri, was born February 19, 1947, in Galliopolis, Ohio, the son of Ivan Russell and Peggy June (Gilliland) Harrison.  He departed this life, Friday, September 29, 2023, at his home surrounded with love and family.

Bob was a 1965 graduate of the Ramey Air Force Base High School in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico.  He was a United States Navy Vietnam Era Veteran.

On April 1, 1972, he was united in marriage to Sharon Kay Rainey in Warrensburg.

Bob was employed as a machinist working for Brown & Root Industrial Services in Glen Rose, Texas and for Stahl’s Specialty Company in Kingsville, Missouri.  He was of the Lutheran faith.  He enjoyed working, detailing his cars, watching wrestling and television, and time spent with family, especially with his grandchildren.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife Sharon of Pleasant Hill; four children, Christopher Michael (and Christy) Harrison of Pleasant Hill, Brandon Lee (and Nicole) Harrison of Marshall, Missouri, Shannon Rebecca Willems of Pleasant Hill, and Rusty Wayne (and Camile) Harrison of Stephensville, Texas; eleven grandchildren, Reagan Harrison, Carter Harrison, Rylee (and Bryar) Sproat, Olivia Harrison, Taylor Simmons Brycen Harrison, Caleb Harrison, Hayden Willems, Elias Harrison, Kaelyn Harrison, and Michael John Harrison; one great grandchild, Berklee Sproat; two sisters, Linda Sue Jennings and Kenitra Garcia, both of Knob Noster, Missouri; other relatives and friends.

Cremation has been accorded. No services are scheduled at this time.
