Bob G. Shore

Robert Glen "Bob" Shore, 77, of Kingsville, was born December 13, 1948, in Kansas City, the son of Norman Glen and Martha Ann (Whisler) Shore. He departed this life, Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Lee's Summit Medical Center.

Bob grew up on the family farm near Kingsville. He was a 1966 Pleasant Hill High School graduate.

On May 20, 1967, he was united in marriage to Patricia Ann Marrs at the First Baptist Church in Pleasant Hill. To this union four children, Kimberly, Robert II, Steven, and Martin were born.

Bob was employed as a Truck Driver. He started his career at Manor Baker later transferring to ANR Trucking in Kansas City where he spent most of his career. He also helped work the family farm. He was a member of the Teamsters Local #41 and a member of the Strasburg Baptist church. He was an avid golfer. He enjoyed motorcycle riding and took many road trips with his wife Trish, as well as other motorcycle friends. They also enjoyed wintering in South Texas. Above all he enjoyed spending time with family, especially his grandchildren.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; one son Robert Shore II, and one grandson, Micheal Aaron Hulett.

He is survived by his wife Patricia of Kingsville; three children, Kimberly Shore, of Springfield, Missouri, Steven Shore of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Martin Shore of Lee's Summit; two siblings, Linda (and William) Tye of Kingsville and Tony (and Brenda) Shore, of Kingsville; eleven grandchildren, Charissa Medina, Cassie McGraw, Aylana Shore, Blake Shore, Cayden Shore, Nathaniel Scott Shore, Jordan Shore, Alex Shore, Hannah Smith, and Autumn Shore; eight great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Visitation and funeral services were held Saturday, February 14, 2026, at the funeral home.  Elder Butch Shewmaker officiated. Interment was in the Strasburg Cemetery. Casket bearers were Steven Shore, Martin Shore, Christofer Medina, Christian Medina, Scott Shore, and Cayden Shore. Honorary casket bearers were Blake Shore, Alex Shore, Brayan Medina, Colton Burton, Meme Medina, and Mark McGraw.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Strasburg Cemetery and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
