Brandon Casey

Brandon Wayne Casey, 28, of Olathe, Kansas, formerly of Pleasant Hill, was born, December 28, 1989, in Springfield, Missouri, the son of Gary W. and Rhonda M. (Yarbrough) Casey.  He departed this life, Saturday, May 19, 2018, at his parents’ home in Olathe.

Brandon was a 2008 Pleasant Hill High School graduate.

He was employed as a Sheetmetal Fabricator for Union Local #2, Kansas City, and had been working for Wesco/Hercules in Topeka.  He enjoyed fishing, watching T.V., listening to music, and spending time with friends & family.  He was always upbeat and positive and loved living life to its fullest.

Brandon was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Leon Casey.

He is survived by his parents, Gary and Rhonda of Olathe; two sons, Liam Joseph Gilliam of Belton, and Carter Wayne Casey of Olathe; one brother, Josh (and Keely) Casey of Lee’s Summit; paternal grandmother, Vickie Casey of Harrisonville; maternal grandfather, Alan (and Judy) Yarbrough of Urbana; maternal grandmother, Becky Emert of Kearney, Missouri; two nephews, a niece, other relatives and many friends.

Cremation has been accorded.

A memorial service was held Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at the funeral home where visitation was held prior to the service.
