Chase Edward Davis, 22, of Pleasant Hill and Odessa, was born October 24, 2003, in Blue Springs. He departed this life Wednesday, March 18, 2026.

Chase grew up and attended school in Odessa later transferring to Pleasant Hill where he graduated in 2022.

Chase was first employed for DWB Excavating and later worked as an Iron Worker for Union Local #10. He was currently working for Fine Cut Drilling and Sawing in Pleasant Hill. While in high school he loved playing sports especially wrestling and football. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding dirt bikes, four-wheeling, and riding his RZRS side-by-side with the Barker and Badder family. He also enjoyed hanging out with his friends and second family at the lake. He loved dancing, singing and was the ultimate prankster who loved to tease his sister.

Chase is survived by his father John Davis of Pleasant Hill; his mother and stepfather, Jennifer and Mike Adams of Odessa; siblings Paige Davis of Odessa, Colt Helm and Pepper Helm, both of Odessa, Colton Snyder of Pleasant Hill, Kiley Stuckey of Blue Springs, Charlye Adams of Odessa, and Ciara Adams of Blue Springs; paternal grandparents, Ron (and Birdena) Davis of Lowry City and Paula Luna of Independence; maternal grandparents, Eric and Janet Slover of Holden; paternal aunt Jamie (and Scott Sadler) of Pleasant Hill; cousins, Hailey Sadler and Brooke (and Clint) Ederer of Pleasant Hill; maternal aunt and uncle, Jill (and Todd) Meyers of Independence, and Nick (and Caryna) Slover of Shawnee; stepfather, Josh Helm of Odessa; step grandparents, Judy and Moose Helm of Odessa; other relatives and host of friends.

Visitation was held Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at the funeral home.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at the funeral home. Pastor Darryl Rider officiated. Interment was in the Odessa Cemetery. Casket bearers were Shon Badder Jr., Dalton Buck, Blake Evinger, Nate Hays, Colt Helm, and Mason Tye.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
