Chester Adkins

Chester Alfred Adkins, of Kingsville, Missouri, formerly of Lake Lotawana, was born Sunday, May 13, 1928 in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Edward Adkins and Nona Scott Adkins. He died Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at the St. John's Breech Regional Medical Center, Lebanon, MO at the age of 78 years, 8 months and 3 days.

On May 25, 1955, Chester was united in marriage to Ruth A. Holker in Kansas City, Missouri.

Chester was a Carpenter and had worked for KU Medical Center.

Besides his parents, He is preceded in death by 2 sisters.

He is survived by his wife, 1 son, Chester A. Adkins, Jr. of Hartville, Missouri; 1 daughter, Susan May Pebbles of Odessa, Missouri; 7 Grandchildren; and 2 Great Grandchildren. Funeral services were held Sunday, January 20, 2007, at the Stanley-Dickey Funeral Home, Pleasant Hill, Missouri. Reverend Gary Walton, officiated. Cremation followed services, inurnment at a later date.
