Chloe Lou Seiz, 82, of Kingsville, was born June 10, 1943, in Independence, the daughter of Leslie Cleo and Pearl N. (Schlesinger) Owen. She departed this life Monday, February 23, 2026, at the Silverado Lee's Summit Memory Care Community.
Chloe grew up in Peculiar and attended Peculiar Schools.
On June 9, 1968, she was united in marriage to Albert Henry Seiz in Harrisonville. He preceded her in death on December 20, 2021.
Chloe was a homemaker. She was a member of the Grace Family Fellowship in Pleasant Hill, and most recently attended Abundant Life in Lee's Summit. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, quilling, and many other crafts. She most enjoyed time spent with family.
Chloe was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Leslie Stephen Owen.
She is survived by four children, Gary (and Dave Ozment) Truelove of Yelm, Washington, Dean Truelove of Blue Springs, Lori (and Corrina Beck) Truelove of Kansas City, Missouri, and Tonya (and Jimmie) Frank of Kingsville; three grandchildren, Michael Ashworth of Independence, Mindy (and Eric) Sproul of Lee’s Summit, and Aaron Truelove of Grain Valley; three great grandchildren, Felicity French, Jaden French, and Jackson Sproul; other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association-Heart of America Chapter and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
