Crispin D. Brockman

Crispin Dean “Cris” Brockman, 49, of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, was born September 14, 1976, in Windsor, Missouri, the son of Wesley Dean and Karen Rae (Carter) Brockman. He departed this life Thursday, August 20, 2026, at his home.

Cris was a 1994 graduate of Green Ridge High School and a 1998 graduate of Missouri Western State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Management.

On August 8, 1998, he was united in marriage to Carrie Danielle Smith in Sedalia and to this union two children, Collin Dean and Corina Danielle were born.

Following college, he served for two years as General Manager of Tractor Supply in Independence, after gaining experience at the Saint Joseph store during college. For five years, he worked as an Inside Sales Representative at Kent Electronics, where he was first introduced to the electronic components industry. After Kent Electronics was acquired by Avnet Electronics, Cris became a Business Development Manager. He shared the territory covering Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Illinois, Kansas, Nebraska, & Arkansas. For two years, he worked as a Sales Engineer at Matrix Design, representing several electronic component manufacturers across Missouri, Kansas, and Nebraska. Cris completed 20 years as a Field Sales Representative with TTI, Inc., managing a multistate territory covering Missouri, Kansas, and Nebraska.

He was a former and active member of the Broadway Presbyterian Church in Sedalia where he sang in the church choir and the Pleasant Hill First Presbyterian Church where he served as Deacon and Elder. He and Carrie currently attended the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church. He was an active parent member of Boy Scout Troop #300, Pleasant Hill and a member of the Tribe of Mic-O-Say earning the name Fighting Paddlefish; his son later continued the Scouting tradition earning his tribal name, Small Fighting Paddlefish. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, boating, and camping.

Cris is survived by his wife, Carrie of Pleasant Hill; two children, Collin Brockman of Independence, Missouri, and Corina Brockman of Orlando, Florida; his parents, Wesley and Karen Brockman of Green Ridge; one brother, Damian Kyle Brockman of Green Ridge; other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, August 28, 2026, at the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 29, 2026, at the Church. Pastor James Stanfield-Myers will officiate.

Cremation will be accorded following services. Interment will be in the Green Ridge Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Boy Scout Troop #300 or the Show-Me Christian Youth Home and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
