Darrel W. Isaman

January 19, 1950 — June 15, 2022

Darrel William Isaman, 72, of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, was born, January 19, 1950, in Weatherford, Oklahoma, the son of William Henry and Mary Lucille (Payne) Isaman.  He departed this life Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at his home.

Darrel was a 1969 Raytown High School graduate.

He was a United States Vietnam Era Marine Corps Veteran specializing in Radio Communications.

In 1972 he was united in marriage to Judy Kay Connell in Kansas City, Kansas.  They later divorced.

Darrel was employed as a Warehouse Manager for Midpoint National in Kansas City, Kansas.  While his boys were young, he enjoyed coaching their teams and refereeing little league games.  He liked working on genealogy, listening to music, and watching the Royals, but most importantly he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Darrel was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Pamela Jones; and his ex-wife, Judy.

He is survived by his three sons, Paul (and Erin) Isaman of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, Robbie Isaman of Pleasant Hill, and Matthew (and Katie) Isaman of Blue Springs, Missouri; three siblings, Terrell (and Brenda) Isaman of Harris, Minnesota, Marilyn (and Larry) Formella of Kansas City, Missouri, and Tim Isaman of Hydro, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Jacob Harris, Kaylyn Isaman, Brandon Isaman, Brody Wilkinson, Kynzie Wheeler, and Madilyn Isaman; other relatives and friends.

Cremation has been accorded. 

Graveside funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville.  Full military graveside honors will be conducted by the United States Marine Corps.
