David Gene Huskisson, 71, of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, formerly of North Kanas City, was born November 25, 1950, in North Kansas City, the son of Charley & Ruth (Mills) Huskisson. He departed this life, Sunday, May 29, 2022, at his home with his wife Donna by his side.
David was a 1969 North Kansas City High School graduate.
On October 7, 2016, he was united in marriage to Donna Jean Altis in Blue Springs.
David was first employed as a Forklift Operator for Hunt Midwest until the age of 21 when he joined the police academy. He was a police officer for the North Kansas City Police department for over 30 years. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Police and the Harley Davidson Group of Kansas City. He enjoyed fish0ing in his pontoon boat and riding his motorcycle to Sturgis.
David was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Norman Huskisson.
He is survived by two nieces, Connie Williams of Garden City, Missouri, and Stacy Huskisson of Portland, Oregon; two great nephews; and his mother-in-law, Norma Kabrick of Blue Springs, Missouri.
Per David’s wishes cremation has been accorded. Inurnment was in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Independence.
