Debra A. Emanuel

Debra Ann Emanuel, 64, of Pleasant Hill, was born November 16, 1961, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Carl James and Delores Jean (Olson) Wortman. She departed this life Thursday, January 8, 2026, at her home, with her husband Terry by her side.

Debra was a 1980 Blue Valley High School graduate.

On October 11, 1984, she was united in marriage to Terry Lee Emanuel in Jackson County. To this union two children, Tara and Carl were born.

Debra was a dedicated and hard-working employee at the Pleasant Hill Health and Rehabilitation Center in Pleasant Hill for over 25 years. She enjoyed watching television, especially home improvement shows and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Debra was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Terry of Pleasant Hill; two children, Tara Emanuel of Grandview and Carl (and Tori) Emanuel of North Kansas City; two grandchildren, Tabitha Riggs Emanuel and Josiah Henley; other relatives and friends.

Cremation has been accorded. No services are scheduled at this time.
