Donald E. Vogel, 74, of Pleasant Hill, was born April 15, 1949, in Clinton, Missouri, the son of Erwin J. and Beatrice M. (Greufe) Vogel.  He departed this life, Sunday, June 25, 2023, at the KPC Promise Hospital of Overland Park, surrounded with love and family.

Don grew up in Montrose graduating from Montrose High School in 1967.

On September 11, 1976, he was united in marriage to Catherine Lynne Jackman in Independence.

We can attest that there was not a more staunch supporter of the Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus than Don. The checklist is lengthy and admirable. Rest in peace our dear friend, Don. May perpetual light shine upon you!”
