DOROTHY J. BRINKMAN

Dorothy J. “Peggy” Brinkman, 85, of Pleasant Hill, was born, May 19, 1931, in Kansas City. She departed this life, Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at the Pleasant Hill Health & Rehabilitation center.

On April 21, 2017, she was united in marriage to Richard H. Brinkman in Miami, Oklahoma.  He preceded her in death on March 15, 2002.

Peggy was a homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting and collecting pigs.

Peggy was also preceded in death by three children, Terry Downey, Kerri Williams and Richard Downey, Jr.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law Naomi Downey of Pleasant Hill, and 8 grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services were held Monday, March 27, 2017, at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Reverend D. Kent Deubner officiated.
