Estella Robinett

Estella Jane Robinett, 94, formerly of Pleasant Hill, was born, March 15, 1920, in Pleasant Hill, the daughter of Syranus Griffith, Sr. and Clara Zettine (Bunnell) Griffith. She departed this life at 8:15 a.m., Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at the Meadowview Health Care Center in Harrisonville.

Estella was a 1940 graduate of Pleasant Hill High School.

On May 18, 1940, she was united in marriage to Lew Virgil Robinett in Sedalia, Missouri. He preceded her in death on April 12, 1998.

Estella was primarily a mother and homemaker. She loved gardening and flowers. She was active in both church and school activities.

Estella was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by one son Dennis Robinett of Kansas City, Missouri; one daughter Gayle Gibson of Lee’s Summit; one brother Lawrence (and Margaret) Griffith of Raymore, Missouri; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Private graveside services were held in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
