Eva C. Bell

Eva Christine Bell, 84, of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, was born February 1, 1941, in Van Nuys, California, the daughter of Walter Alva and Opal Christine (Johnson) Vancil. She departed this life Tuesday, January 6, 2025, at Villa St. Francis in Olathe, Kansas.

Eva was a 1959 Kansas City, Missouri, Westport High School graduate.

On January 14, 1969, she was united in marriage to Gilbert Donald Bell in Miami, Oklahoma. Don preceded her in death on December 26, 2009.

Eva was a Store Manager for Skaggs and Osco drug stores. She was a member of the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church and a former member of the Pleasant Hill Lions Club.

Eva was also preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Debbie Lynn Bell on September 19, 2011.

She is survived by her children, Jeanette (and Mark) Pruitt of Olathe and Tim Soldner of Miami, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Lindsay (and Peter) Monshizadeh, Matthew Pruitt and Nathan (and Whitney) Soldner; two sisters-in-law, Juanita Vancil of Independence and Joyce (and Ron) Dowell of Pleasant Hill; other relatives and friends.

Per Eva's wishes cremation has been accorded. Private services were held in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
