Harry L. Kircher

Harry Lee Kircher, 83, lifelong resident of Pleasant Hill, was born, November 16, 1938, on the family farm near Pleasant Hill the son of Harry C. and Corinne E. (Karg) Kircher.  He departed this life Saturday, November 5, 2022, at his home and in the same room in which he was born in.

Harry was a 1956 Pleasant Hill High School graduate.

On June 4, 1960, he was united in marriage to Rosealee Henry in Peculiar.

Harry was a longtime area farmer.  He also owned and operated Kircher Trucking working with several area trucking companies including Show-Me Trucking and National Carrier.  He loved working on his family farm, traveling out west, and collecting Oliver Tractors.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Phillip Kircher, and one great granddaughter.

He is survived by his wife Rosealee of the home; four children, Debbie (and Steve) Hale, Dana (and Roger) Mayfield, Denise (and Mark) Thompson, and Drew Kircher, all of Pleasant Hill; ten grandchildren, Joshua (and Jessica) Hale, Megan (and Jared) Tebo, Andrea (and Josh) Smith, Mark (and Jesica) Thompson II, Nicole (and Ted) Hunt, Heather (and Pete) Camuso, Luke Thompson, Rachel Thompson, Kaitlyn Kircher, and Carson Kircher; eighteen great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.  He also leaves behind his beloved two dogs, Charlie and Henry.

Visitation and funeral service wer held Saturday, November 12, 2022, at the funeral home.  Pastor Wyatt Shanks officiated.  Interment was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.  Casket bearers were Drew Kircher, Travis Callahan, Josh Smith, Josh Hale, Luke Thompson, and Carson Kircher.  Honorary bearers were Jared Tebo, Mark Thompson, Roger Mayfield, Steve Hale, Bill Wendel, and Jimmy Kircher.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Wayside Waifs and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
