Hazel Kircher

Hazel Irene Kircher, 82, of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, was born Sunday, August 10, 1924 near Pleasant Hill, the daughter of Godfrey and Goldie Anna (Graham) Kircher. She departed this life Sunday, June 17, 2007 at St. Mary's Hospital of Blue Springs.

As a child, Irene attended the Plum Grove School; she then attended the Pleasant Hill High School, after graduating she received her degree from Huff Business School in Kansas City.

Irene was employed by TWA; she started as a stenographer in November 1945 and ended her career as Executive Secretary to the vice-president of engineering after 43 years, retiring in May 1989.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 brothers Frank, Harry and Raymond Kircher and 1 sister Edna Lancaster.

She is survived by 6 nephews and their wives: John & Nancy Lancaster, Michael & Beverly Kircher, and Harry Lee & Rosalie Kircher all of Pleasant Hill; Phillip and Donna Kircher, of Osage Beach, MO, Charles & Andrea Kircher of Doylestown, PA, and Tim & Pat Kircher of Pleasant View, TN; other relatives and many friends.

Cremation has been accorded. Graveside services were held Thursday, June 21, 2007 at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery Chapel.
