INF. BENTLEIGH J. MEAKINS

Infant Bentleigh Jack Meakins was still born, Thursday, April 30, 2020, at the St. Luke’s East Hospital, Lee’s Summit.

Bentleigh is survived by his parents, Dallas James Meakins and Maegan Shaeleigh Ashmore of Pleasant Hill;  one half-brother, Rylan James of Lawrence;  paternal grandparents, Darrell and Pam Meakins of Kansas City; maternal grandparents, Jason Ashmore of Blue Springs and Abigail Smith-Ashmore of Pleasant Hill; paternal great grandmother, Wanda Meakins of Topeka; maternal great grandparents, Mike and Chris Smith, and Margaret and David Kosfeld of Pleasant Hill; paternal aunt, Jacci (and Collin) Pittz of Topeka; maternal uncle, Shawn Ashmore of Pleasant Hill; maternal aunt, Julianne Smith of Pleasant Hill; several cousins, Cameron Pittz, Carter Pittz, Shaeleigh Smith; his god parents, Tyler Orloski and Emma Wehner; and other relatives.

He was preceded in death paternal great grandfather Jack Meakins and his paternal great grandparents, Don and Winifred Eastwood.

Cremation has been accorded. No services are scheduled.
