James W. “Jimmy” McMurphy Jr., 86, of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, formerly of Wiggins, Mississippi, departed this life Thursday, May 14, 2026, at the Crown Care Center in Harrisonville, Missouri.

Visitation will be held 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at the funeral home.
Graveside funeral services and interment will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at the Staley Mound Cemetery. Pastor Mark Schwartz will officiate.
