Jeffrey K. Schley

Jeffrey Kent Schley, 66, of Belton, was born February 2, 1957, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Dale and Virginia (Chaney) Schley.  He departed this life Saturday, March 25, 2023, at the Belton Regional Medical Center. 

Jeff was a 1975 Kansas City Northeast High School graduate.

On June 19, 1992, he was united in marriage to Sarah J. Miller in Kansas City.  They later divorced.

Jeff was employed as a Diesel Mechanic for the City of Kansas City.  He was of the Baptist Faith.

He enjoyed fishing, building model cars, NASCAR, was an Elvis fan, and an avid Trekky.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by three daughters, Hallie Jo Miller of Grandview, Jessie (and Jason) Flesner of Pleasant Hill, and Virginia Hart of Shawnee; one granddaughter, Stevie Rose Flesner; three brothers, Marvin Schley of Clinton, Craig Schley of Kansas City, and Mike Schley of Tightwad; other relatives and friends.

Cremation has been accorded.  The family is going to host a Celebration of Life gathering at a later date. Time and location will be published here when that information becomes available.
