JUDY A. MALOTT

Judith Ann Malott, 61, of Blue Springs, was born, December 8, 1958, in Kansas City, the daughter of Walter Gene and Frances Marie (Brown) Malott, Sr.  She departed this life, Thursday, December 26, 2019 at the Research Medical Center, Kansas City.

She was a 1977 Blue Springs High School graduate.

Judy was employed as an accountant first for Safety Federal in Kansas City and for the North American Bank in Grandview, Lee’s Summit, and Kansas City.  She enjoyed coaching and playing softball, watching tennis and golf, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan.

Judy was preceded in death by her mother Marie Malott just eight months earlier on April 26, 2019.

She is survived by her father Gene Malott of Blue Springs; one brother, Gene (and LaVonna) Malott of Blue Springs; one sister, Sharon Wheeler of Centerton, Arkansas; 6 nieces and nephews, Danielle (and James) Yen of Centerton, Brandon (and Fatima Estevez) Wheeler of Kansas City, Rachael (and Vanessa Torres) Malott and Hunter Malott, both of Blue Springs, Rachael (and Brad) Mitchell of Kingsville, and Tony (and Tori) Findley, of North Kansas City; eight great nieces and nephews, Lily, Alex, Luca, Brenton, Morgan, Deegan, Iva, and Reed; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Monday, December 30, 2019, at the Blue Springs Assembly.  Pastor John Martz officiated.  Cremation was accorded following services.

Visitation was held prior to the service at the church.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Sarah Cannon Cancer Center and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
