KIMBERLY A. VOORHEES

Kimberly Ann Voorhees, 57, of Climax Springs, Missouri, was born, August 4, 1961, in Harrisonville, Missouri, the daughter of James R. and Alice J. (Walker) Voorhees.  She departed this life Thursday, September 20, 2018, at the Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach.

Kim was a 1979, Pleasant Hill High School graduate. She furthered her education at the Central Missouri University in Warrensburg.

Kim was employed as a Massage Therapist owning and operating Intentional Transformations Massage Therapy.  She and her companion Michelle also owned K & M Home Solutions in Climax Springs, where they had rehabbed several homes in that area.  She enjoyed reading, playing cards, and listening to disco music.  She especially loved spending time on her farm with her horses and animals.

Kim was preceded in death by her father James Voorhees on December 26, 2013.

She is survived by her companion Michelle Graviett of the home; her mother, Alice Voorhees of Pleasant Hill; one brother, Russell (and Kelli) Voorhees of Pleasant Hill; one sister, Barbara Sue (and Steve) Willetts of Blue Springs; 6 nieces and nephews, Brook Graviett, Clay Graviett, Jessica Willetts, Shelby Willetts, Makenzie Voorhees, and Madison Voorhees; other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Kim’s Life was held Saturday, October 13, 2018, at the funeral home.  Reverend D. Kent Deubner officiated.
