Krista Kirk

Krista Gay Kirk, 57, of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, was born June 25, 1956, in Topeka, Kansas the daughter of Daniel Carl and Hazel Ethel (Parker) Fiore. She departed this life at 2:42 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2014, at the Research Medical Center, Kansas City, surrounded with love and family.

Krista was a 1974 Belton High School graduate.

On May 26, 1990, she was united in marriage to Clifford Ray Kirk in Harrisonville, Missouri.

Krista loved quilting, EBay, and collecting dolls. She was an avid genealogist and spent many hours researching Ancestry.com. Most importantly to her was family. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her kids and grandkids.

Krista was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Brenda Louise Fiore.

She is survived by her husband Clifford of the home; one daughter, Cherie Fiore-Robinson (and James M.) of Dalhart, Texas; one son, Jimmy Dale (and Alan Respalie) Fiore of Gladstone, Missouri; two grandchildren, Kaley Shai Fiore and Kyle Austin Lee Fiore both of East Lynne; one sister, Lilian Click of Grandview, Missouri; other relatives; and many friends.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at the funeral home. Reverend D. Kent Deubner of the Pleasant Hill First Christian Church officiated. Cremation was accorded following the service; inurnment will be in the Belton Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Pleasant Hill Lay-Clergy council and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
