Mary Teresa Mullin, 33, of Pleasant Hill, was born June 23, 1982 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of John A. and Mary Ellen (Groff) Mullin. She departed this life at 11:05 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at the St. Luke's Hospice House, Kansas City, surrounded with love And family.

Teresa was a 2001 Pleasant Hill High School Graduate and was very active in FuturFarmers of America.

She had been employed as an office manager for Midwest Transmission, Keystone Automotive, the Costa Rica Pool Company and most recently Bell Management Properties. She has also owned and operated her own in home daycare for several years. She was a member of the St. Bridget Catholic Church.

Teresa will long be remembered as a very giving and generous person with a great sense of humor, at the same time open and honest with her opinions. She was a mom to many.

Teresa was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Arthur J. and Joyce Mullin, and her maternal grandparents, G. Robert and Agnes T. Groff.

She is survived by her parents, John and Mary Ellen of Pleasant Hill; four children, Kylie M. Mullin-Struzick, Kaycee M. Mullin- Struzick, Makenna R. Pruitt, and Avery B. Volland, all of Pleasant Hill; four brother's, John A. (and Sarah) Mullin, Robert Jeremy (and Krystal) Mullin, Anthony, J. (and Jessica) Mullin, and Vincent A. Mullin, all of Pleasant Hill; other relatives and a host of many friends.

Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 26, 2015, at the funeral home.

Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 27, at the St. Bridget Catholic Church, Pleasant Hill. Monsignor Robert Murphy will officiate. Interment will be in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Kansas City. Casket bearers are Brandon Harrison, Andy Mallinson, Chris Pruitt, Joey Russell, Jason Volland, and Will Wilson.

In lieu of flowers an educational account will be established for Teresa's four children at the Community Bank of Pleasant Hill. Please make checks payable to Avery Volland.
