Mary Olive Reinhart, 87, of Pleasant Hill, was born Friday, December 14, 1923 in Cresco, Iowa, the daughter of William Leland and Edith Mary (Woodard) Wheeler. She departed this life at 8:05 a.m. on Monday, April 18, 2011 at her daughter's home in Flemington, Missouri.

Mary grew up in Northern Iowa and attended school in Austin, Minnesota.

In 1940, Mary married Willard Jacob Kramer and to this union two daughters were born Jane and Janet. Mr. Kramer died while serving in the United States Army during WWII.

In 1946 she married Keith Earnest Tuttle and to this union four children were born, Keith, Kathleen, Kay and Lee Ann. Mr. Tuttle is now deceased.

On August 14, 1976, Mary was united in marriage to Donald Eugene Reinhart in Grandview, Missouri; he brought three children into the family, Paula, Steven and Bruce. He preceded her in death on August 17, 2004. Mary was employed as a Private Branch Exchange Operator for the Federal Reserve in Kansas City for over 25 years retiring in 1986.

Mary was proud to have been a member of the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church; Past President of the Drexel, Missouri, PTA; Belton VFW Post #8220 Auxiliary and later the Pleasant Hill VFW Post #3118 Auxiliary; D.E.A.R. S Auxiliary of the Grandview Elks Lodge#2088; and she was an active member and Past President of the Pleasant Hill Lions Club.

Besides her parents and husbands, she was also preceded in death one daughter, Jane Allen; one son Steven Reinhart; two son-in-laws Clifford English and Allen McKinley; her sister Lela Conway; and her brother Gene Wheeler.

She is survived by five daughters, Paula (and Mike) McKeehan of Blue Springs, Janet (and Gene) Ray of Flemington, Kathleen (and Jim) Spencer of Peculiar, Kay English of Peculiar, Lee Ann (and Don) Abney of Nalcrest, Florida; two sons Bruce Reinhart of Monterey, California, and Keith (and Janice) Tuttle of Pleasant Hill; 22 grandchildren; 43 Great Grandchildren; 9 1/2 great-great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Friday, April 22, 2011, at the Stanley-Dickey Funeral Home. Pastor Carl Knapp minister of the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church officiated. The Pleasant Hill Lions Club and the Grandview Elks Chapter-D.E.A.R. Auxiliary held short services shortly before the service.

Interment was in the Longview Cemetery in Kansas City, Missouri. Casket bearers were Vince English, Robert Mckinley, Daniel Ray, James Ray, Brian Spencer, Steven Spencer, and Tim Spencer. Honorary casket bearers were Jason Allen, John Koetting, Robbie McKinley, Mitchell Spencer, and Mark Tuttle.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
