Michael Lynn Ingram, 65 of Pleasant Hill, was born, May 24, 1951, in Kansas City, the son of Robert J. and Helen L. (White) Ingram. He departed this life Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at his home, surround with love and family.
Mike was United States Marine Corps Vietnam War veteran.
Mike was a lifelong area resident. He was employed as a plumber for Swofford Plumbing in Pleasant Hill later working for Midwest True Value in Pleasant Hill. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed country music; he was a simple and kind and good man. Mike was loved by his grandchildren. He was an active member of Pleasant Hill V.F.W. Post #3118.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Peggy.
Mike is survived by his daughter, Jesica J. Hines of Belton; two brothers, Dale Ingram of Kansas City and Robert Ingram Jr. of Lee's Summit; three grandchildren, Alana, Simoria, and Makenna; other relatives and many friends.
Cremation has been accorded.
A memorial service was held Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at the funeral home. Reverend D. Kent Deubner officiated. The Final Salute Ceremony was rendered by Mr. Ron Beatty. Graveside military services and inurnment followed at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery with full military honors by the U.S. Marine Corps and the V.F.W. Post #3118 Honor Guard.
