Nadine Driskill

Alberta Nadine Driskill, 95, of Pleasant Hill, was born, May 16, 1922, in Yates Center, Kansas, the daughter of Allen and Pearl (McKinney) Dill.  She departed this life, peacefully, on Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at her daughter’s home in Lake Winnebago.

On September 25, 1938, she was united in marriage to Howard Mac Driskill in Yates Center. He preceded her in death on October 22, 2009.

Nadine was also preceded in death by her parents; her son Michael D. Driskill; one brother, Virgil Dill; two sisters, Wilma Jones and Helen Leonard.

She is survived by her daughter, Carol (and Chet) Johnson of Lake Winnebago; two sons, Milford (and Shirley) Driskill of Neodesha, Kansas, and Galen (and Joy) Driskill of Disney, Oklahoma; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Nadine was a homemaker and wonderful mother. She enjoyed eating out, gardening, working crossword puzzles and word searches, and watching her favorite tv program, Dancing with the Stars.  She was a member of the Crossroads Baptist Church, Kingsville.

Cremation has been accorded.

A celebration of Nadine's life was held Sunday, May 6, 2018, at the funeral home. Pastor Dave Driskell officiated.

Inurnment will be in the Strasburg Cemetery at a later date.
