Penny L. Sapp

Penny Lucinda Sapp, 61, lifelong resident of Lone Jack, was born May 7, 1965, in Kansas City, the daughter of Bobbie Grant and Marlene (Lukas) Sapp. She departed this Monday, May 11, 2026, at Lee’s Summit Medical Center.

Penny was a 1983 Lone Jack High School graduate. She was employed at Summit Pet Care for many years, later working for the Lee’s Summit Journal, and at Myron’s Precise Paint Systems. She was an outdoors person who loved taking care of animals, horseback riding, hunting, and fishing.

Penny was preceded in death by her father.

She is survived by her mother Marlene Sapp and her brother, Clinton Sapp, both of Lone Jack; other relatives and friends.

Cremation has been accorded. No services are scheduled at this time.
