RENEE WASSON

Renee Wasson, 75, of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, was born March 4, 1946, in San Diego, California.  She departed this life, Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at the Pleasant Hill Health & Rehabilitation Center.

Renee moved to Missouri at a young age graduating from the Forsyth High School, Forsyth, Missouri, in 1964.

On May 19, 1964, just four days after graduation, she married Jimmie D. Wasson in Forsyth.  They enjoyed over 57 years of marriage.

Renee was a homemaker.  In her younger years she bowled and was a member of a quilting guild.  She enjoyed sewing, cooking, reading, and playing cards.

Renee was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Mancella (Greenya) Ford and two sons, David Wasson and Timothy Ewing.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmie of the home; one son, Jason Wasson of Pleasant Hill; two grandchildren Justin Wasson and Jessie Wasson; other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held Friday, December 3, 2021, at the funeral home.

Graveside funeral services were held Friday, December 3, 2021, at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.  Reverend Mark Conway officiated. Casket bearers were Michael Gray, Samuel Gray, Silas Gray, and Gene King.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the V.F.W. Post #3118 Veterans Relief Fund and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
