Rita Stanisci

Rita Stanisci, 77, of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, was born, February 4, 1945, in Bronx, New York, the daughter of George and Margaret (Patti) Proetto.  She departed this life, Sunday, March 27, 2022, at Kindred Hospital Northland in Kansas City, Missouri.

Rita was a 1963 Bronx high school graduate.  In 1981, she was united in marriage to John Stanisci in Queens.

She was employed at the Queens Medical Center in Flushing, New York.  She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.

Rita was preceded in death by her parents and her husband John.

She is survived by two sons, Michael (and Kathleen) Skillmore of Glen Cove, New York, and Anthony Stanisci of Blue Springs, Missouri; two grandchildren, Kelly Skillmore and Michael Skillmore; one brother, Michael (and Susan) Proetto of White Hall, Pennsylvania;; other relatives and friends.

Private services were held at the Trexler Funeral Home in Allentown, Pennsylvania.  Interment was in the Grandview Cemetery, Allentown.
