ROBERT “BOB” FRAZIER
Robert L. “Bob” Frazier, 81, of Adrian, Missouri, formerly of Raymore, Missouri, and Greenwood, Missouri, was born, October 25, 1936, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Leslie and Helen (Gurnee) Frazier. He departed this life, Wednesday, May 23, 2018, peacefully at home surrounded by family, and his beloved dog Bingo.
On June 11, 1955, he was united in marriage to Margaret (Trefz) Frazier in Kansas City, Missouri.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents; brother Leslie Frazier, Jr; grandson Jonathon Daniel “Danny” Frazier, Jr., and a daughter-in-law Mary (Dawe) Frazier.
He is survived by his wife Margaret Frazier of the home; 5 children: Robert Frazier, Jr of Adrian; Georgetta (and Christopher) Robles of Pleasant Hill; Jonathon (and Denise) Frazier of Pleasant Hill; Rose (and Joseph) Lough of Adrian; Dina (and Douglas) Fredrickson of Adrian; 13 grandchildren: Jeannie (and David) Wearing of Belton; Bellamy (and Torrey) Shumard of Harrisonville; Zackery Frazier of Adrian; Joshua Dawe of Harrisonville; Gabriel (and Adrian) Dawe of Pleasant Hill; Kellie (and James) Mudd of Raymore; Rachel Frazier of Lee’s Summit; Christina Lough of Denver, Colorado; Becky Mattingley of Archie; Anthony (and Megan) Frazier of Pleasant Hill; Alexandria Fredrickson of Adrian; Allan Lough of Adrian; Ariel Fredrickson of Rancho Cucamonga, California; 31 great grandchildren: Paige Frazier; Lake Dawe; Makayla Mudd; Alexis Frazier; Abby Frazier; Chase Frazier; Brianna Mudd; Elijah Simms; Katelynn Frazier; Sophie Frazier; Jennifer Lough; Keara Mattingley; Madison Frazier; Sean Lough; Kyle Frazier; Lucas Mudd; Joshua Lough; Sage Dawe; Morgan Mattingley; Tristin Hays; Gavin Hays; Anora Lough; Jeffery Lough; Robert Dawe; L’wren Mckenzie; Jackson Lough; Gabriella Mattingley; Ryker Frazier; Finley Mckenzie; Amelia Mudd; Maximus Mattingley. 1 great, great granddaughter Myah Maher.
Survivors also include 6 sisters: Mary D’Avanzo of Oak Grove, Missouri; Sandra (and John) Elliott of Independence, Missouri; Laura (and Jim) Geraci of Harrisonville, Missouri; Verna (and David) Baird of Pomme de Terre; Brenda Trudeau of Lake of the Ozarks; Linda (and Terry) Fagre of Kansas City.
For over 60 years he contracted in the commercial and residential roofing industry. He enjoyed fishing and spending time at the Lake of the Ozarks with his family. Robert was fun loving with a zest for life that was often reflected with a twinkle in his mischievous eye. Despite his sometimes-gruff exterior he was an incredibly intelligent, compassionate and loving man who will be sorely missed by his many descendants.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Bates County Meals on Wheels and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
Visitation was held Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at the funeral home.
Funeral Services were held Wednesday, May 30 at Community of Christ Church in Pleasant Hill. Interment was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Pallbears were Timothy Frazier; Zackery Frazier; Josh Dawe; Allan Lough; Ariel Fredrickson; Anthony Frazier.
