Robin Marie George, 56, of Pleasant Hill, was born, Sunday, October 21, 1956, in Denver, Colorado, the daughter of Robert Eugene and Joan Linnea (Fortin) Oswalt. She departed this life Friday, March 15, 2013, at her mother's home in Pleasant Hill.

Robin was a 1974 Lakewood Colorado High School graduate.

On December 2, 1977, she was united in marriage to Robert George in Lakewood. They were no longer married.

Robin was a homemaker. She had also worked for Schultz Design in Pleasant Hill and the Pleasant Hill First Baptist Church Daycare. She was a member of the Pleasant Hill First Christian Church.

The most important part of Robin's life was family; she was a devoted mother and grandmother. She also loved shopping, garage sales, and traveling.

She was preceded in death by her father Bob Oswalt, one brother Gary Johnson and one sister Christy Trautman.

Robin is survived by her mother Joan Oswalt; one daughter Becky (and Van) Murray; one son Scott (and Jessica) George; one sister Debbie (and Richard) Russell; one brother Rick Johnson; 4 grandchildren, Ryan and Geoffrey Murray, and, Kordell and Parker George; other relatives and host of friends.

Cremation has been accorded. Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013, at the funeral home. Reverend D. Kent Deubner of the Pleasant Hill First Christian Church will officiate. Inurnment will follow in the Pleasan Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Robin George memorial fund in care of the Pleasant Hill Bank.
