Saundra L. Krueger

Saundra Lea Krueger, 88, of Lone Jack, was born April 16, 1937, in Huron, South Dakota, the daughter of Raymond V. and Leah (Coral) Petersen. She departed this life Sunday, June 1, 2025, at the University Health Lakewood Medical Center.

On June 16, 1954, she was united in marriage to Thomas Leroy Krueger in Reno, Nevada. He preceded her in death on July 21, 2005.

Saundra was a homemaker. She was a member of the Lone Jack Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, and making ceramic dolls. She also enjoyed sitting on her porch and watching the wildlife and taking care of her cats and dogs. Above all she loved spending time with family.

She is survived by her three children, Lorna Hudson of Lee’s Summit, Roy Krueger of Lone Jack, and Fred Krueger, of Lone Jack; one granddaughter, Lauren Hudson of Lee’s Summit; one brother, Verl Petersen of Washington state; other relatives and friends.

Per Saundra wishes no services are scheduled. Private burial was in the Lone Jack Cemetery.
