Sawyer L. Kubicsko

Sawyer Lee Kubicsko, age 5, of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, was born August 17, 2021, in Lee’s Summit. He departed this life Friday, September 11, 2026, at his home surrounded with love and family.

Sawyer was diagnosed with Dysautonomia, an autonomic nervous system disorder, just days after his birth. He was a happy baby and an angel and abundant ray of sunshine to be around. He enjoyed listening to the Toy Story movies and loved the excitement when everyone was home and the commotion it created around him. Everyone loved his smile and his love of snuggling. Although limited in what he could control and do in his brief life, he captured the hearts and souls of all who knew him.

Sawyer was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Rod Daugherty and maternal grandfather, Mark Kubickso.

Sawyer is survived by his guardian and grandmother Stacie Kubicsko and maternal aunt Morgan Kubicsko. His siblings, Oliver and Kota. His father, Riley Daugherty and mother, Marissa Kubicsko. Paternal grandmother, Kari Daugherty; paternal grandfather, Craig Jones; paternal uncles, Logan Daugherty and Jeremiah Jones; paternal aunt, Lyndy Daugherty; paternal great grandparents, Jerry and Genera Nyquist; Maternal great grandparents Bob and Sally Robertson; and many other relatives and friends.

Cremation has been accorded. Private family services will be held at a later date.
