Sharon Rita Williamson, 83, of Pleasant Hill Missouri, passed away on March 31, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on August 19, 1941, in Litchfield, Minnesota, to Alphonse E. and Cecelia (Hoffard) Gehlen, Sharon’s life was one filled with kindness, joy, and a deep love for those around her.
Sharon was a proud 1959 graduate of Sandpoint Senior High School in Idaho. She went on to build a meaningful career as an administrative assistant at Morrison-Knudsen Co + Hewlett-Packard in Boise Idaho, retiring in 2002, but it was her life outside of work that truly reflected the heart of who she was.
On February 26, 2002, Sharon married her beloved Arnold “Leroy” Williamson in Boise and together they made a beautiful life filled with love, faith, and service to their community. Sharon was a devoted member of the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, where she spent many years working alongside Leroy and staying actively involved with the United Methodist Women. Her spirit of giving and caring was always evident, whether it was through her church service, family gatherings, or visiting with the many individuals of St. Mary’s Hospital.
Sharon’s sense of style was impeccable— Always had the perfect outfit wore with a smile, she radiated grace. Her greatest joy came from being with her family, Sharon was deeply proud of her children and adored her grandchildren + great-grandchildren, cherishing every moment she spent with them. Her laughter and infectious smile will be missed by all who knew her.
Sharon is preceded in death by her parents; her son, J. Douglas Beneze; and her stepson, Scott Jennings Williamson.
She leaves behind her loving husband, Leroy of Pleasant Hill; four daughters, Jackie Hignite and Stacie Beneze, both of Independence, Lori (and Butch) Hammett of Parker, Colorado, and Julie Kuenzli of Boise, Idaho; two stepdaughters, Debi (and Leland) Lemmon of Allen, Kansas, and Vicki (and Mike) Siebers of Shawnee, Kansas; four grandchildren, Joshua (and Heather) Hammett, Christina (and Nick) Ray, Austin (and Jared G) Ray, and J.
