Stacie L. Beneze

April 22, 1968 — October 15, 2025

Independence, Missouri

No Farewell Words Were Spoken, No Time To Say Goodbye, You Were Gone Before We Knew It, And Only God Knows Why.

Stacie Leigh Beneze, 57 years old of Independence, Missouri, was born on April 22, 1968 and departed this life on October 15, 2025. Though her journey here has ended, the light she brought into this world will shine brightly through the lives she touched.

Stacie attended Meridian High School in Meridian, Idaho and went on to pursue a career in cosmetology.

She had a passion for using her creativity and care to help others feel beautiful. The role she cherished most was that of a mother and grandmother—a role she spent the majority of her adult years.

Despite facing ongoing health challenges for much of her life, she never allowed them to dim her spirit. Her strength was quiet but unwavering, always paired with a radiant smile and an energy that lifted every room she entered. She had a rare gift, making everyone feel seen, valued, and loved—whether family, friend, or stranger.

She poured her heart into her family, finding her greatest pride in her only daughter, Mackenzie, and her three beloved granddaughters; Stacie’s love for them was deep, unconditional, and constant.

She also shared a special bond with her cherished pets—her dogs, Brodhi + Jenny, and her cats, Cecil + Blue—who brought her companionship and comfort in return for the endless affection she gave.

She was preceded in death by her younger brother, Doug Beneze, her loving mother, Sharon Williamson, and her father, James Beneze.

She is survived by her only daughter, J. Mackenzie and her daughter-in-law, Kaitlyn Serner of Independence; three beautiful granddaughters, Lilly Jane Wallace-Serner, Chloe Davis-Serner, and Schaeffer Leigh Wallace-Serner; three sisters, Jackie Hignite of Independence, Lori (and Butch) Hammett of Parker, Colorado, and Julie Kuenzli of Boise, Idaho; stepfather, Leroy Williamson of Allen, Kansas; three nieces and nephews, Austin (and Jared G.) Ray of Las Vegas, Nevada, Christina (and Nick) Ray of Cumming, Georgia, and Josh (and Heather) Hammett of Bennett, Colorado; her four fur babies; Brodhi, Jenny Cecil and Blue, other relatives and friends.
