Norene Theresa "T.T." Woolery, 83, of Pleasant Hill, was born June 24, 1942, in Hoboken, New Jersey, the daughter of Harold and Catherine (Gillis) Speir. She departed this life Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at the Waterford Ladies Home in Blue Springs Surrounded with the ones that loved her.
She was first united in marriage to John Pedersen in Las Vegas, Nevada; he preceded her in death. On December 26, 1984, she was united in marriage to Bob Woolery in Harrisonville; he preceded her in death on November 13, 2005.
Theresa was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and shopping. She and Bob also enjoyed dancing and traveling. Above all she enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was the most kindhearted person you would ever meet. She would give the shirt off of her back to help anyone in need. She was funny and full of life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Theresa was also preceded in death by her parents; her great grandson, Callen Robert Woolery; and siblings, Maude Hanley, Bill Speir, and Harold Speir.
She is survived by her children, Dale (and Sally) Woolery of Ankeny, Iowa, Jay Woolery and Jill (and Chuck) Parker, both of Pleasant Hill; six grandchildren, Bryan (and Andrea) Thornburg, Bandon (and Amy) Woolery, Kathryn (and Ryan) Gambaro, Justin (and Karen) Lavinder, Jessica (and Richard) Prewitt, and Charles Parker; 19 great grandchildren, Sydney, Hunter, Scarlett, Hayden, Sophie, Charlie, Robin, Myles, Adryelle, Korynn, Isabella, Breckyn, Sloane, Harlow, Maverick, McClayn, Luca, and Tucker; three siblings, Tina Novack of Grain Valley, Margaret Bowen of Pleasant Hill, and George (and Margaret) Speir of Belton; other relatives and friends.
Graveside funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Reverend Jude Hunter with Ascend Hospice will officiate. Casket bearers, Dale Woolery, Jay Woolery, Bryan Thornburg, Richard Prewitt, Ryan Gambaro, Brandon Woolery. Honorary casket bearers are Hunter Prewitt, Justin Lavinder, Charles Parker.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Ascend Hospice and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
