Virgil Bryant

Virgil P. Bryant, 79, of Republic, Missouri, formerly of the Pleasant Hill and Peculiar area, was born Monday, May 7, 1928 in Carthage, Missouri, the son of Mack Thomas and Inez Bryant, he departed this life Monday, May 21, 2007 at the Christian Health Care Center in Republic

Virgil was a WWII Army Veteran; he was member of the Open Door Full Gospel Church, Pleasant Hill.

Besides his parents, He is preceded in death by 1 brother Harvey L. Bryant and 2 sisters Maxine Robertson and Dorothy Fuche.

He is survived by 1 son Terry Lee Bryant; a sister Cleone Young; 8 nieces, 4 nephews; other relatives and many friends.

A Graveside service was held Friday, May 25, 2007 at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Reverend Dennis Gulley officiated. Pallbearers were Joey Gillespie, Shaun Gillespie, Christopher Jacobson, William McCubbin, Zach Templeton, and Darrin Thompson.

Graveside military services were provided by VFW Post #3118, Pleasant Hill.

A Celebration of Life service was held Saturday, May 26, 2007, at the Open Door Full Gospel Church, Pleasant Hill.
