Virginia M. "Ginny" Davis

Pleasant Hill, Missouri

Virginia Mary “Ginny” Davis, 83, of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, was born December 20, 1940, in West New York, New Jersey, the daughter of Joseph and Virginia (Eagleson) Hayes.   She departed this life Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at the Pleasant Hill Health & Rehabilitation Center.

Ginny grew up in West New York where she attended Memorial High School.

On June 19, 1962, she was united to Gerald Heck and to this union two daughters Sherry and Shannon were born; they later divorced. On October 14, 1976, she was united to Calvin Davis and to this union one daughter, Nicole was born; they later divorced as well.

Ginny was a homemaker.   She enjoyed caring for animals, reading, cooking, and was an avid baker.  

She is survived by three daughters, Sherry (and Allan) Moskowitz of Matthews, North Carolina, Shannon (and Michael) Heck-McLaughlin of Pleasant Hill, and Nicole (and Will) Walker of Pleasant Hill; Six grandchildren, Michael (and Wendi) Moskowitz of Weddington, North Carolina, and Alexandra (and Justin) Fultz of Monroe, North Carolina; Veronica and Victoria Masters, Anthony and Cora McSparran; four great grandchildren, Kirk Moskowitz, Wade Moskowitz, Cooper Fultz, and Akari Masters; other relatives and friends.

Cremation has been accorded. No services are scheduled at this time.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Pleasant Hill Animal Shelter and may be sent inl care of the funeral home.
