William Smith

William Irvin Smith, 67, of Harrisonville, formerly of Pleasant Hill and Lee's Summit, was born January 3, 1947, in Kansas City, Missouri. He departed this life Friday, July 4, 2014, at the Research Medical Center, Kansas City.

William was a 1966 Lee's Summit High School Graduate.

He was united in marriage to Joyce Stodgell in Pleasant Hill.

William was employed by Pruett Manufacturing in Pleasant Hill; Later working in the workshop at the ABC Healthcare Center in Harrisonville. He enjoyed collecting baseball and football cards, coins, and Hot Wheels cars.

William is survived by one son Bill Smith and his wife Becky of Richland, Iowa; one daughter Melissa Stimac and her husband John of Kingsville, 4 grandchildren, Will, Savannah, Zachary, and Dottie; one brother David Smith and his wife Beth of Oak Grove; other relatives and friends.

Cremation has been accorded. A private family service will be held at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery at a later date.
